Economic Analyst, with a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Columnist of El Comercio and El Universo newspapers. He created the publication “Analisis Semanal” and its English version “Weekly Analysis” in 1970. Weekly Analysis has been a key tool for major public and private institutions of the country and international investors interested in Ecuador. In addition, he offers advice, talks, consultancies and studies in economic and political issues of the Ecuadoran reality. Currently he is the Director of Weekly Analysis, President of Grupo Spurrier.

Melissa Spurrier Ortega

With a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Boston College and a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University, she has broad experience with learning Institutions. She writes articles for Vistazo magazine, and she is a College teacher. She has a private practice in vocational training. Melissa is the methodological coordinator and trainer of Grupo Spurrier.
